I want to point out that Ruckus/Brocade has 2 commands that contradict each other when configuring Spanning Tree:
Spanning-tree admin-edge-port 'BPDU Protect' feature will protect your ports i.e. Against rogue switches. 'Admin Edge' feature will save you 3 seconds when bringing a port online 'BPDU filter' is not recommended, because you might filter some BPDUs which you might need for detecting loops. Okay, so with Brocade, you apply spanning tree to the VLAN. Then, on the ports you have in that VLAN, you ap ply. Spanning-tree 802-1w admin-edge-port to the port to make it 'portfast'.

If you know there is a point to point link between 2 rapid spanning tree devices you have to turn that on at the interface level
